• 2017 was a year of growth in which we
    expanded our product inventory and
    deepend our partnerships.
  • With 92 micro-franchises, we
    impacted over 300 children!
  • These women were making less than $2
a day before they joined Supply Hope
and now the average income of our
store owners is $8.35 a day. Some make
as much as $12.50 a day!
  • We have helped all of our store
    owners to open bank accounts.
This year we welcomed new store
    owners like Isabel, who
quickly became one of our top
    sellers.
  • With their income and diligent
    savings…
  • Claudia bought her family new beds
and a new stove. They are now
saving to build a bathroom and a
    toilet.
  • And Jessica found hope and dignity after being abused
and abandoned by her husband. Through Supply hope,
she is able to care for her 3 children.
  • The success of our stores this year was due in part
to exciting new partnerships with distributors like...
  • E-chamorro. They produce products like diapers and
    cleaning supplies.
  • Cafe Soluble. They also make
    cleaning supplies, as well as
    personal items and soup!
  • Pollo Rico - a chicken provider! We are selling 400 chickens a month!
  • This grew our product offering from 108 to 121.
  • We continued to expand
    our benefits program
    and 40% of the women
    took advantage of our
    death insurance offering.
    With the grim realities of
    life for those at the
    bottom of the pyramid,
    our store owners want to
    ensure that their
    children will be provided
for in the event of a
    tragedy.
  • We got our first investment loan this year which has helped us
to scale our program in Managua
  • and we developed a metric
    system with Williams Davidson
Institute which will help us to
    better measure our impact.
  • We see that impact in the next generation of
women; the daughters who are watching their
moms work so hard to break the cycle of poverty.
  • “There are lots of companies
that think there are jobs that
woman cannot do. It is difficult
    because there are not enough
    opportunities for women to lead
    but we can lead well!”
    - Mercado Fresco store-owner
  • We look forward to continuing
to partner with you in 2018.
